Your Lawyer Next Door- Kimberly L. Forino, Esq.

Sometimes legal issues or questions seem to erupt out of nowhere. They often accompany a feeling of dread or anxiety about having to find a solution or reach out to an expensive attorney. Imagine if you could find legal guidance from a trusted friend or next door neighbor, if you will, whose goal was to help you find solutions in a fast and economical manner.
Your 'Lawyer Next Door'- Kimberly L. Forino, Esq. brings her 14+ years of experience as a licensed NJ attorney to help you solve your business legal concern as fast and economically as possible.
A lifelong student of the art of critical thinking, advocacy, analysis, and stimulating conversations, Kimberly earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, with a minor specialization in Business Law from Hofstra University. During this time she was inspired through studying the works of some of the world’s greatest thinkers and debaters, and equally enjoyed learning about how the law regulates business operations.
Immediately following college graduation, Kimberly attended Seton Hall University School of Law and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 2007. During law school, Kimberly interned for a U.S. Magistrate Judge and held positions working with an internationally renowned criminal law scholar, and the transaction group of a major international law firm. After earning her Juris Doctor degree, Kimberly clerked in the NJ Superior Court for a one year clerkship.
Thereafter, she went on to work for a major news network during the 2008 U.S. Presidential Election season, and then joined a small law firm where she successfully litigated and settled premises liability cases on behalf of a Fortune 100 Retailer in the NJ Superior and Appellate Division, along with the U.S. District Court for the District of NJ. She went on to serve as General Counsel and Director of Corporate Compliance for a NJ based health service organization for nearly a decade. In 2019 she began her solo legal practice and continues to assist new and seasoned local small businesses with various contractual, employment and compliance matters. She served on the Bridgewater Township Planning Board from 2020-2021 before relocating to scenic Hunterdon County in 2022.
Kimberly enjoys meeting and assisting local small business owners and entrepreneurs in New Jersey, who she acknowledges as driving our economy. Ever the non-conformist, Kimberly feels a sense of pride when clients tell her, "I contacted you because you think outside the box." Kimberly also enjoys an active lifestyle and pursues her interests with zeal.
